After years working in this industry, our founders kept running into the same problem: most research peptides on the market are inconsistent, sourced overseas, and impossible to verify. So we built the supplier we always wanted to buy from.
Why we exist
The research peptide industry has a quality problem. We watched colleagues order from the “premium” sites, only to get lots that didn’t match their COAs — when a COA was even available. We saw labs pay overseas vendors and wait three weeks for product that arrived warm. We saw new researchers get burned because nobody could tell them which suppliers were real.
So in 2024 we set out to fix it. Heartland Bio Labs was founded in Tulsa, Oklahoma with one rule: every lot ships with a real Certificate of Analysis, every product is HPLC-tested at ≥99% purity, and every order ships fast from our US facility. No middlemen, no overseas guesswork, no surprises.
What “research-grade” actually means here
≥99% HPLC purity
High-performance liquid chromatography confirms purity on every lot before any vial leaves our facility. Industry baseline is 95%+ if a vendor cares enough to test at all — we set the bar higher.
Mass spec identity
ESI-MS or MALDI-TOF confirms molecular weight and amino acid sequence on every batch. The peptide is what we say it is. Verifiable, every time.
COA per lot
Every released lot ships with its real Certificate of Analysis — purity %, mass spec confirmation, lot number, storage parameters, signing analyst. Look it up anytime via the COA Portal.
How we run the lab
Our compounds are manufactured under controlled environmental conditions and packaged into sterile, low-residual vials. Lyophilization runs under validated cycle parameters to preserve peptide integrity. Lyophilized peptides are stable at ambient temperatures during transit — we ship via expedited carriers in secure, tracked packaging with silica desiccant. Upon receipt, transfer to −20°C storage for long-term stability.
Orders confirmed before 2:00 PM Central Time ship the same business day. Tracking is provided automatically. We’re not a dropshipping operation. We don’t outsource the science.
A note from the founders
We started Heartland Bio Labs because we needed it to exist. Every researcher we know has been burned at least once by a peptide supplier — wrong purity, missing COA, three-week shipping from overseas, no answers when something went wrong. The industry deserved better, and so did the people doing real work.
