Cognitive & Longevity
Cognitive and longevity research peptides cover two research traditions that rarely appear in the same catalog: the neuropeptides developed largely in Russian laboratories, and the compounds studied for cellular aging and metabolic signaling.
The neuropeptide pair
Semax and Selank are siblings by design. Both are heptapeptides stabilized with the same three-residue tail, but they come from different parents: Semax from the hormone ACTH, anchoring the cognition and neurotrophic side of the literature, and Selank from the immune peptide tuftsin, anchoring the anxiolytic-model side. Much of their foundational research was published in Russian-language journals, which means there is considerably more published work than an English-only search suggests. Comparative programs almost always order the pair together.
Cellular aging and metabolic signaling
Epithalon is a short synthetic tetrapeptide with a long history in telomere and cellular aging research. MOTS-c is a mitochondrial-derived peptide, a class only recognized relatively recently, studied in metabolic regulation. NAD+ sits alongside them as a coenzyme central to cellular energy metabolism rather than a peptide, and 5-Amino-1MQ is a small molecule studied in the same metabolic space.
Why identity testing matters most here
Several compounds in this category are very small molecules. That makes them simpler to synthesize, so high purity is achievable, but it also means a clean chromatogram alone proves less: HPLC has less to distinguish, and only mass spectrometry confirms the molecule is what the label claims. Our article on HPLC versus mass spectrometry explains the distinction. Certificates for every compound are published in our COA portal. All compounds are sold for laboratory research use only.
