What Is a Certificate of Analysis?
A Certificate of Analysis (COA) is an analytical document issued per production lot, recording what an independent laboratory measured for that specific lot. Certificates published here record, where the laboratory reported them:
- Average purity and per-vial purity
- Test method and identity confirmation
- Lot number, testing laboratory, and report date
- Appearance and endotoxin (LAL) result
- The original laboratory document
Values are transcribed from the issued certificate. A field the laboratory did not report is omitted rather than assumed.
